THE MODERATOR

George Frederick Takis moderates various international events and puts his fluency in German, English, French and Italian to effective use. Upon request, he presents humorous elucidations of cultural or historical themes (e.g. anecdotes about Wagner operas at a formal banquet held at Germany’s Wartburg by the Society of the Friends of Bayreuth). From time to time, he is asked to write new texts for familiar songs so as to make reference to the specific person or situation being celebrated (e.g. “Moon River” for the company MUNIS during a gala dinner in honor of the retiring Chairman of the Board). With his alert intelligence and amiable manner, the moderator provides tactful accompaniment to social occasions of all sorts.
